The trolley extraction tool has been designed for use with the EMRI (Easy Maintenance Retractable Idler). The EMRI is a patented conveyor idler designed for easy, safe and quick access to all rollers including the central roller.

The trolley extraction tool is an optional inclusion. It is a mechanical device intended to reduce the physical effort involved with retracting the idler trolley. This would be required for 2000 wide belts and above. All EMRI’s for conveyor belts 1800 wide and below can be maintained manually, eliminating the need for the extraction tool.

The extraction tool is a galvanised steel product which comprises of a frame which slots into place on the EMRI frame and a long screw pin with an endplate that bolts onto the roller trolley. Once in place, a rattle gun is used to withdraw and reinstate the trolley to allow for maintaining worn rollers. The trolley extraction tool is custom designed to fit the dimensions of EMRI specifications.

Hands-free roller change-out for mining conveyors is realised when the Trolley Extraction Tool is used in conjunction with the EMRI (Easy Maintenance Retractable Idler), Roller Removal Tool and Rack’n’Roll.
